Fields of interest: Humanitarian history, aid network, decolonization of Africa

Research topics: Humanitarianism and international solidarity in Western Sahara

I earned a Master's degree in Historical Sciences from the University of Florence, where my studies delved into the social and cultural dynamics of 20th-century Italian and European history.

Currently, I'm a PhD student of Global Histories, Cultures and Politics at the University of Bologna, exploring humanitarianism, international solidarity and forced migration issues. Since January 2023, I have been collaborating with the Historical Archives of the European Union (European University Institute).

My doctoral research focuses on humanitarian mobilization and aid networks towards the Sahrawi people, examining Italy and Spain's roles in this context.
